DRY CREEK VALLEY

This valley is capped by Warm Springs Dam at the top and runs for 16 miles southwest between two ridges that are only two miles apart. Over 8,800 acres are vineyards.

The diverse, well-drained soils and terrain are ideal for an array of grape varietals. The area has one of the largest concentrations of benchlands in Sonoma County.

Leading varietals include Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc.

This appellation is home to the Gallo of Sonoma, Gallo being one of the largest and most industrialized wine producers in the world.
